Regular Savings Account

Minimum balance to open is $100.00. Interest is accrued daily and compounded quarterly and paid regardless of balance. If the balance stays above $100.00 there is no maintenance charge, if it falls below $100.00 there is a $3.00 maintenance fee per quarter. With the exception of loan payments to us or transfers made by mail, ATM or in person to same depositor,  you may not make more than six (6) preauthorized, automatic, or telephone transfers (including telephone banking and bill pay, internet banking and bill pay, and PC banking payments and transfers) each month. Christmas Clubs and Vacation Clubs

Minimum balance to open is $5.00. Interest calculated based on the daily balance computation method and credited to the account at maturity. Available through coupon book payment or auto debit from your checking account.

 

Purchase and Redemption of US Savings Bonds

To purchase US Savings Bonds, visit www.treasurydirect.gov. You may redeem existing bonds at any of our Franklin Bank & Trust locations.
